Description.
A VER/DCPD blending resin designed for open mold application.Excellent mechanical properties. Lower print-out that it can improve cosmetics and blister resistance, Low exotherm.Low volatile organic .Suit for hand lay-up and spray-up process.As skin coat widely used for marine or tooling application as skin coat.
 

Typical properties at 25ºC(reference only).

Viscosity at 25ºC (B/F RV spindle 2, 50 rpm): 450 - 650 mPa.s

Thixotropic index(B/F RV, spindle 2, 5/50 rpm) : 2.5 - 3.5

Solid content : 65 ~ 70 %

- Tooling gel coats are formulated specifically for mold making. These series contain both special polyester and vinyl ester products.
- Skin coat.Superior mold cosmetics can be achieved by using a skin coat with hybrid vinyl ester resin behind the gel coat. Be applied after the gel coat application and offer good protection from fiber-print and distortion on the gel coat surface in order to increase mould turnaround time.
- A full line of tooling resins for all methods of tool manufacture. These products include a vinyl ester and a series of low profile resins. The vinyl ester resin can be used as skin and bulk materials in the conventional mold building process. This process consists of daily single ply lamination until the required mold skin thickness is achieved.
